Adult & Children’s Dentistry at Carolina Forest is pleased to introduce you to Dr. John Martino.

Dr. Martino was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia and is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Martino has worked in private practice in Morgantown, West Virginia and Louisville, Kentucky prior to relocating to Myrtle Beach. He has been a member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Martino has been active in volunteering in the community and abroad, including a dental mission trip to Guatemala. He has enjoyed working with Freedom Day USA, providing dental treatment to veterans and active military members. Dr. Martino has been active with the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Additionally, he has been a volunteer with Relay for Life, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and as a coach with the Challenger Little League for children with special needs.

From prevention to alleviation of dental pain, Dr. Martino treats patients with compassion, striving to make sure every patient has a comfortable experience and quality care.

In his free time, Dr. Martino enjoys spending time with his family & friends, playing guitar, and cheering on his favorite sports teams: the WVU Mountaineers, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins!
